I finally arrived in Seoul!

I really can hardly believe it… I am finally at the goal of my dreams and yet it is only the first step and so much more is to come during my journey in South Korea.
After more than a year of planning and many knockbacks due to COVID-19, I was finally able to fulfill my longing and landed in Seoul a few days ago.

Well… Actually, I landed in Incheon, the big international airport about an hour away from the capital of South Korea. There I had to go through an incredible number of stations to prove my test status and discuss my upcoming & mandatory quarantine.
After an hour and a half, I was finally able to leave the airport, equipped with a Korean cell phone number and a few Korean won. A quarantine cab then took me to a testing station where the next COVID test was already waiting for me.
After only a few minutes, we were able to drive through the beautiful city of Seoul to my accommodation.
Now I am in quarantine for 10 days and I used the first days to share my experiences in a short VLOG on YouTube, please have a look:

After a few days now, everything doesn’t feel so stressful and exciting anymore. But at the moment of my arrival everything was just quite overwhelming and confusing.
That’s why I want to give you some tips in my next blog post and in the upcoming video, if you happen to be thinking about going to South Korea on a long-term visa in the near future (while this stupid pandemic is still going on).

So stay tuned and I hope to see you soon! ♡
